My sketch progress

Ouuufff…there’s still so much I need to learn and it seems there’s not enough time in a day :) I am still looking around for work in a design environment, but it is not easy…At the moment I am focusing on my own freelance projects, but it can sometimes be quite hard.

I hope companies do see, that skills do not always mean that you are better. Ideas or attitude are important as well. My aim is to learn Flash, After effects and CSS, as I would love to do more within this environment.

These patterned illustrations are part of my search, my experiences. I do not know why I make them the way they are, but I am intrigued by patterns, links, the way how everything is connected, little stories within.

I am still working on the circus story, need to write the story down properly and the nudes are in the back of my head as well. I just need a few more clients :) If anyone is interested…:):)

The Circus!

I am inspired by a story I read in the newspaper last year: a couple of circus animals escaped from a circus near Amsterdam. So my aim is to create this compact children book, with funny, cute illustrations. Who wants to help me write the story???
